The Waukee Parks & Recreation Department has responded to an increased number of vandalism issues within the parks system this summer. Multiple parks have been tagged with vulgar and inappropriate graffiti. Equipment and signs have also been damaged or broken.

The City of Waukee takes pride in providing outdoor amenities for residents and visitors, and Parks & Rec staff members work hard to maintain the premises. The department kindly asks and encourages residents that if they see something unusual happening in the parks, please notify the Parks & Recreation Office at 515-978-0007 or if deemed necessary, contact the Waukee Police Department by calling non-emergency dispatch at 515-222-3321 .
