
Waukee, Iowa- The Point of Grace Church and Children’s Academy, along with the Waukee Chamber of Commerce and members of the Community, cut the ribbon on the new play area located to the North of the Point of Grace Church/Academy.
The play area includes large play equipment with three slides, a tunnel, a basketball and even a sand volleyball court. The children, who this addition was directed towards, attended the ribbon cutting, releasing red, white and blue balloons as the ribbon was cut.
Brett Black, Student Ministry Pastor at Point of Grace (POG), said, “This is not just for the kids, but we hope this can be something the community can enjoy.”

The Point of Grace Children’s Academy’s 21 adult teachers educate and care for 91 children. 13 of the 21 teachers have earned Bachelor Degrees and one has a Master’s Degree. The Director of the POG Children’s Academy is ACSI accredited.
