Police Chase Ends With OWI and Other Charges: Waukee Police Reports

May 4
A vehicle driven by Timothy Barry of 7060 Forest Drive, Johnston was northbound on Ashworth Drive and going through a stoplight at Hickman Road when a vehicle driven by Caroline McKee of 14682 Newport Drive, Bouton, reportedly did not yield at the red light and collided with Barry's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $20,000. McKee was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.

A vehicle driven by Marsha Frakes of 3825 79th St., Urbandale, was westbound on Hickman Road and stopped at a traffic light at Alice's Road. Police said a vehicle driven by Alexandria Porter of 1215 Greene St., Adel, rear-ended Frakes' vehicle. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
Richard Hollands, 43, of 407 Cottage St., Adel, was arrested on R Avenue in Dallas Center following a chase. He was charged with third-offense OWI, eluding an officer, failure to have an interlock device, failure to have a driver license and failure to maintain control.

May 5
Jared Bahnsen, 35, of 65 N.E. Grace Wood Drive, Waukee, was arrested in the 100 block of Laurel Street and charged with second-offense OWI.
Tegan Turcotte of 2140 S.E. Crabapple Court, Waukee, reported a case of identity theft.
