Projects, Opportunities to be Highlighted on Economic Development Bus Tour

Development projects around growing Waukee will be highlighted in a Sept. 12 economic development tour sponsored by several city and civic organizations and local businesses.

The tour begins at 4 p.m. and a business-after-hours event follows at 5:30 p.m. at Gilcrest/Jewett  Lumber Co., one of the sponsors of the event.

Others include the city of Waukee, the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce, the Waukee Economic Development Corp. and Orton Homes.

In addition to getting status updates on various development projects in Waukee, leaders will also provide information about the growing community and the school district that serves it.
