Retirement Community Launches Mind and Body Fitness Classes
Classes are open to residents of The Village at Legacy Pointe retirement community and area seniors.

As part of Watermark Retirement Communities, The Village at Legacy Pointe retirement community of Waukee has launched βWatermark University,β featuring a wide variety of classes promoting physical and mental fitness.
The nearly 20 classes are taught by associates and residents of The Village at Legacy Pointe as well as local experts and people passionate about the subjects they teach, including zoo keepers from the local Blank Park Zoo and a Lieutenant from the Waukee Police Department. - Computers 101: Learn how to use various computer programs and create and manage an email account.
- Sit and Be Fit: This chair exercise class works the body from head to toe! Get your blood moving and strengthen your muscles without ever leaving your chair.
- Arm Chair Travels: See the world from the comfort of home Tour the islands of Hawaii in the month of September to discover the most monumental sites, sample the local fare and experience the culture.
