Scam Alert From The Waukee Police Department

SCAM ALERT: The Waukee Police Department received several reports regarding scam phone calls claiming to be from "MidAmerican Energy" which demand immediate payment from customers for past overdue gas bills with the threat of service disconnection. This is a scam, and as a reminder, the City of Waukee manages its own Gas Utility. MidAmerican Energy does service the community's electricity needs, but not gas.
