Sign Up Waukee Girls Now for Recreational Softball League
The city says adults are also needed to volunteer as coaches for the sport. Games are played from mid-April through the end of the school year.
The Waukee Parks and Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for the 2013 Girls Recreational Softball League, according to a news release.
Registration is open through Feb. 15.
Girls who are currently in kindergarten through seventh grade who are interested in playing can register online at www.waukee.org under the “play” tab and click on “online registration.”

Practices will begin around April 1, the release said, and games are played from mid-April through the end of the school year.
