Community Flocks to Homecoming Festivities

Thursday night in Waukee was the scene of the homecoming parade, king and queen coronation, and the annual powderpuff football game.

Warrior fans lined the streets of Waukee Thursday night elbowing each other out of the way for candy as the homecoming parade snaked through town.

After the parade wrapped, a pep rally, homecoming court coronation and powderpuff football took over Waukee Stadium.

Festivities continue today with WHS Spirit Day as the dressup theme at Waukee High School.
