Israa Faraj of the 300 block of Southeast Jonas Circle reported the theft of an iPad.

Bradley Sittig, 34, of Des Moines was arrested at the intersection of Sixth Street and University Avenue and charged with driving while his license is suspended.

A vehicle driven by Todd Brekke of West Des Moines was northbound on Ashworth Drive when a vehicle driven by Hailey Buzynski of West Des Moines was eastbound on Park Street. Police said Buzynski was stopped at a stop sign and then moved forward, where it was struck by Brekke's vehicle. Buzynski was cited for yield upon entering a through highway. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
