Timberline Brass Quintet Kicks Off Home Grown Talent Series
The five musicians from around the Des Moines metro will perform at ArtsCentral, hosted by the Waukee Area Arts Council.

The Waukee Area Arts Council presents Timberline Brass Quintet at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at ArtsCentral, 405 Maple St. in Waukee.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and are available at Waukee Hardware or at the door.

Timberline Brass Quintet plays a range of classical music, as well as jazz, spiritual and popular works. The group was formed in 2004 and plays many area corporate and civic functions, weddings, church services and other community events.
Timberline Brass Quintet is a Des Moines-based group, featuring a traditional lineup of two trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba. The members include: Dave Krogan, trumpet; Perry Beeman, trumpet; Cristina Deeds, horn; Rodney White, tuba; and Jon Jero, trombone.

“We are very excited to welcome Timberline Brass to ArtsCentral,” said Cindy DePond with the Waukee Area Arts Council. “This group of talented musicians will be the first brass ensemble we’ve had in our Home Grown Talent Series.”
