Total Buzzkill: Party Ends Abruptly for 15 Alleged Underage Drinkers: 2012 in Review

Several 18- and 19-year-olds were charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age after police broke up a party in Waukee.

Fifteen people were arrested after Waukee police responded to a report of a party involving possible underage drinkers.

Around midnight on June 20, Waukee police received a call about a party in the 1400 block of Southeast Traden Drive. The caller said there were several people drinking outside the residence, many of whom looked to be younger than the legal drinking age of 21.

Once there, police charged 15 party-goers with possession of alcohol.
