Upcoming Waukee Chamber Events: Networking Luncheon, Kum & Go Ribbon Cutting, Black History Month Celebration

Join fellow Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce members this month for a lunch at The Village at Legacy Pointe, a ribbon cutting for the new Kum & Go store, and a Business After Hours celebrating Black History Month at the library.

The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce has several events planned this month to entertain and educate.

The following information is taken from the chamber's website.

• Chamber Networking Luncheon: Thursday, Feb. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by: Anytime Fitness and catered by Glenda Reiling & Friends. Location: The Village at Legacy Pointe, 1650 S.E. • Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Kum & Go: Friday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m., at 400 Prairie Bluff Drive (northeast corner of I-80 and Ute Avenue, Exit 117). Join the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce to help Kum & Go celebrate their grand opening in a new location.

• Business After Hours -- "Outside In: African American History in Iowa" with Hal Chase: Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Waukee Public Library, 950 Warrior Lane Hosted by: the Waukee Library Foundation, Friends of the Library and Waukee Area Historical Society Join the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce for Business After Hours with the Waukee Library Foundation, Friends of the Library and Waukee Area Historical Society to celebrate Black History Month.
