Jan. 10
Lourdes Britto, 62, of Waukee was charged with domestic assault.

Vehicles driven by Nancy Phillips of Waukee and Hui Guo of Marshalltown turned right onto Boone Drive going northbound from Southeast University Avenue. Guo tried to merge into the traffic lance and struck Phillips' vehicle, police said. Damage was estimated at $1,800.

A legally parked vehicle in the 300 block of Northweat Carefree Lane was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage was estimated at $1,700.
Joan Bailey of Waukee reported an unknown amount of money was taken from a parked vehicle in the 800 block of Collins Drive.
Jan. 13
A vehicle driven by Ronald Ross of Waukee was northbound in the 2400 block of Southeast L.A. Grant Parkway when it struck a deer. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
