Village at Legacy Pointe Invites Local Residents Over for Gourmet Desserts, Coffee

The Waukee retirement community is inviting the public to drop in June 4 for free gourmet desserts prepared by its head chef.

Enjoy "Life is Sweet," an afternoon of free gourmet desserts and coffee from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, atΒ The Village at Legacy Pointe,Β 1650 S.E. Holiday Crest Circle inΒ Waukee.

According to announcement from the retirement community,Β over an afternoon of freshly-brewed coffee, residents and guests will share the reasons why their own β€œLife is Sweet” as they sample tiramisu, strawberry shortcake and lemon tarts prepared by head chef Eli Rosenberg.

β€œThis is a great way for our residents and area community members to swap stories and mingle in a fun, social setting,” says Yvonne Potter, executive director.
