Village at Legacy Pointe Invites Local Residents Over for Gourmet Desserts, Coffee
The Waukee retirement community is inviting the public to drop in June 4 for free gourmet desserts prepared by its head chef.

Enjoy "Life is Sweet," an afternoon of free gourmet desserts and coffee from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, atΒ The Village at Legacy Pointe,Β 1650 S.E. Holiday Crest Circle inΒ Waukee.
According to announcement from the retirement community,Β over an afternoon of freshly-brewed coffee, residents and guests will share the reasons why their own βLife is Sweetβ as they sample tiramisu, strawberry shortcake and lemon tarts prepared by head chef Eli Rosenberg.
βThis is a great way for our residents and area community members to swap stories and mingle in a fun, social setting,β says Yvonne Potter, executive director.
