Waukee Area Arts Council Presents Final 2012-13 Home Grown Talent Performance This Week

The duo bella soul will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at ArtsCentral, 405 Maple St. in Waukee. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and are available at Waukee Hardware or at the door based on availability.

Iowa Health Des Moines Physicians and Clinics are underwriting the bella soul performance.

bella soul features Tina and Brandon Findlay, says the Waukee Arts Council.

“Tina blew the roof off ArtsCentral last year with her amazing voice and we can’t wait to welcome bella soul on March 9,” said Elaine Frank, Waukee Area Arts Council board member. “bella soul is a collection of incredibly talented musicians that create a unique sound that blends rock, funk and blues with jazz and gospel.”

bella soul has headlined such high-profile events as Winefest Grand Testing, Des Moines Arts Festival, World Food Fest, and opening for such renowned musical icons as Eddie Money, Robert Cray, Johnny Rivers, Renee Austin, and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe.
