Crews are continuing to make progress on the Waukee Public Library stormwater improvements. The new driveway and rear traffic circle were paved and are now open to the public. The existing parking lot and the old driveway are currently being removed to allow grading and storm sewer installation to continue. Paving for the new parking lot will begin in mid-August with access to the front of the building being restored by Labor Day.

Curbside services and returns have shifted to the south side of the building. Returns can be dropped through the dropboxes 24/7 again. However, oversize items will only be accepted during curbside service hours.

Paving was completed on NW Sunrise Drive. Crews are wrapping up paving the roundabout at the intersection of NW Sunrise Drive and NW 6th Street. The large box culvert and the pedestrian tunnel under NW 10th Street have been installed. Crews are preparing to pave NW 10th Street later this month.
