Waukee Chamber Member of the Year Appreciates Dynamic Group
The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce honored members for their contributions in 2012 during a banquet last month. Today meet Dave Milburn, the Member of the Year.

Dave Milburn said he was surprised and deeply honored to receive the Member of the Year Award at last month's Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce annual banquet.
Milburn has been involved with the Waukee Chamber for about three years.
He sellsΒ office furniture and supplies for the Triplett Companies. But his community involvement includes serving on the board of Penny's Pieathlonand he helpsΒ Proferral.netΒ with marketing.

A high point of his work with the Waukee chamber is "getting better acquainted with the other members and staff," Milburn said. "It's a dynamic group of quality people."
He's modest about receiving the Member of the Year Award.

"So many people contribute so much to the chamber and deserve recognition," Milburn said.
In his eyes, the Waukee business community's biggest asset is its "great pool of talented people that are friendly and poised for continued growth."
Also honored last month were Ambassadors of the Year Terry Snyder and Erna Morain.
