Waukee Gym Owner Holding Special Boot Camp to Fight Children's Cancer
The event will be held on Saturday, April 27. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to benefit Children's Cancer Connection.

Waukee fitness expert and owner of Elite Edge Gym Joe Brammer has announced his business will host a charity boot camp to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Connection.
The boot camps will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

"We are proud to partner with Children's Cancer Connection," Brammer said. "We are asking a minimum donation of $10 to participate in the charity boot camp, with 100 percent of that money going to help the Children's Cancer Connection."
Children's Cancer Connection offers a large variety of programs and services centered on the mission of enhancing the lives of families affected by childhood cancer by providing quality programs for education, recreation and support.

The organization serves all families affected by childhood cancer who are living, treated, or diagnosed in the state of Iowa, regardless of treatment outcome.
The Charity Boot Camp will be held at Elite Edge Gym, located at 495 S.E. Alice's Road, Suite E.
For those who are unable to attend the boot camp but would still like to donate, visit www.childrenscancerconnection.org/donate. The workout is open to everyone in the community and is suitable for all fitness levels.
