Waukee, Metro Residents Can Audition for Iowa Movie Roles

Director Thor Moreno has written and directed two other Iowa movies. For his next venture he needs to cast about 110 Iowans in parts later this month.

Waukee actors and would-be actors can try out for a movie part later this month as backers prepare to begin work on a feature-length in early 2013.

Executive producer Mike Snyder of Ankeny said in a news release that filming of "Murder Incorporated," a story about a group of professional killers, is scheduled to start in March 2013.

It will be directed byΒ Thor Moreno, who wrote and directed "I Think I Just Saw the Devil," which was nominated for eight Iowa Motion Picture Association awards. His second film, "Iowa," is a story of small-town betrayal, lies and murder slated for release around Christmas.
