Waukee Middle School Y-Teens Drama Club Takes the Stage Thursday
Head to Waukee ArtsCentral Thursday night for a free evening of improvisations, skits and theater games.

From a Waukee Area Arts Council News Release:
The Waukee Area Arts Council will present Students on Stage featuring the Waukee Middle School Y-Teens Drama Club, on Thursday, Feb. 28, at ArtsCentral, 405 Maple St. in Waukee.
The evening is free and everyone is welcome to attend. The performances start at 7 p.m.

Students will perform improvisations, skits and theater games. Faculty sponsor Sarah Schaefer directs the Y-Teens Drama Club.
“These students are so creative and spontaneous,” said Cindy DePond, Waukee Area Arts Council. “It is so much fun to give them a chance to perform in front of an audience. We hope people will come out to support and enjoy their talents.”

Students on Stage is a program that showcases students in a variety of disciplines. The Waukee Area Arts Council coordinates these events with teachers through the schools and the community at large.
