Waukee PD's Operation Wish List Serves 25 Kids
The officers delivered the gifts all wrapped up and ready for the families to open and enjoy.

December 17, 2020
On Dec. 16, 2020, the Waukee Police Department continued its tradition of giving back to the community during the holidays. Typically, officers take kids shopping for their own gifts and gifts for their family members. This year, due to the need to practice social distancing, the department changed "Shop With a Cop" to "Operation Wish List," doing the shopping from wish lists for 25 kids (nine families). The officers delivered the gifts all wrapped up and ready for the families to open and enjoy.
