Waukee Police Blotter Nov. 7: Oh, Deer! West Des Moines Woman Hits Hooved One
The Waukee Police Department responded to several calls the week of Nov. 6-12 that included traffic accidents, a report of harassment and even burglary to both a vehicle and a residence.

West Des Moines Woman Strikes Deer
Oh, dear! Allison Flack of West Des Moines was traveling eastbound in the 1100 block of Southeast University Avenue Nov. 7 around 3:35 p.m. when the vehicle she was driving hit a deer.
Vehicle damage was estimated at $2,200. No word on the deer's condition.

Nov. 6
Jeffrey Harrold of Waukee reported a burglary to a vehicle in the 2900 block of Southeast Belfry Drive.
Nov. 7
A report of harassment was taken in the 1000 block of Windsor Court in Waukee.
Nov. 8
A vehicle driven by Barbara Brandes of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Derek Weigel of Waukee. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,100. Weigel was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.
A vehicle driven by Ryan Valk of Waukee struck a legally parked vehicle in the 600 block of Southeast Prairie Park Lane. Vehicle damage was estimated at $6,000.
Nov. 10
Gary Wadle of Waukee reported a burglary to a residence in the 3100 block of Cottonwood Drive.
Cheryl Phillips of Waukee reported a vehicle stolen in the 400 block of Painted Woods Drive.
Nov. 11
Christina Raynor, 24, was arrested and charged with driving while suspended.
Nov. 12
Blake Ryan, 20, of Waukee was arrested and charged with domestic assault.
Pro Finish of Waukee reported a theft in the 200 block of North Sixth Street.
