Waukee Police Officer Kelli Cichoski Promoted To Sergeant

Waukee Police Officer Kelli Cichoski was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Sgt. Cichoski joined the Waukee Police Department in 2015 as a patrol officer. She most recently served as a detective and will now be the Sergeant supervising the department’s swing shift.

Sgt. Cichoski is originally from Davenport. She holds an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Kirkwood Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from St. Ambrose University. She is also a graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. Prior to joining the Waukee PD she worked in Loss Prevention for Younkers.

"Sgt. Cichoski is a true leader; she’s talented and possesses unlimited potential," said Waukee Police Chief John Quinn. "Sgt. Cichoski represents all that is good about the law enforcement profession, and it’s truly an honor to promote her to this rank."
