Waukee Realtor Phillips Named to 30 Under 30 List

Waukee Realtor Cy Phillips has been selected as a "30 Under 30" honoree by REALTOR® Magazine for 2013.

The prestigious list recognizes 30 rising stars in the real estate industry, with selection criteria based on business success, community and professional leadership, diversity in business through niches, gender, ethnic background and geographic location, as well as interesting business strategies or obstacles they have overcome.

As an honoree Phillips will be featured in the May/June issue of REALTOR® Magazine.

"I am honored to have been named to the 2013 class of 30 Under 30 and want to thank my family, friends, clients and colleagues for all of the support shown to me both professionally and personally -- in this endeavor and throughout my career,” said Phillips.

“I am truly humbled to represent the state of Iowa and the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors among this talented group of young professionals and am grateful for the ongoing opportunity to help people and families in central Iowa find the perfect home within our community.”

Phillips earned his residential real estate license in July 2007. In 2008, he was awarded the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors "Rookie of the Year" award.
He has earned Remax 100% Club honor every year since 2007 and was named to the Platinum Club in 2012.

In 2010, he was a finalist for the National Association of Realtors "30 Under 30" award.

Currently, Phillips serves on the Waukee Economic Development and Waukee Leadership Institute Boards in addition to other community involvement activities.

He graduated from the University of Iowa, where he obtained a BA in Communication Studies and received a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management.
