Waukee Roads To Close For Downtown Manhole Rehabilitation Project
The following closures will be in effect from Monday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 12th at 3 p.m.

Vanderpool Construction has begun work on the City’s 2020 Downtown Manhole Rehabilitation Project. Over the next several weeks they will be making repairs to manholes west of Warrior Lane. Crews will flag cars around the work and will maintain one lane of travel for vehicles unless otherwise noted.

UPDATE: The following closures will be in effect from Monday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 12th at 3 p.m.
- 6th Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic at Laurel Street, signs will be in place to ask vehicles to alternate.
- Corene Avenue will be closed east of 2nd Street. No driveways will be effected, but residents will be asked to detour around the area.
- Gray Avenue will be closed between 2nd and 3rd Street. No driveways will be affected, but residents will be asked to detour around the area.
- Christopher Avenue will be closed between 1st Street and 2nd Street. No driveways will be affected but residents are asked to detour around the area.
