Waukee's Ryan Glenn and Trevor Allen Named to Des Moines Register's All-State Football Team

Two Waukee High School football players were named to the Des Moines Register's All-State Football team.

The roster, announced in The Des Moines Sunday Register, included senior lineback Ryan Glenn and sophomore back, Trevor Allen. Both Glenn and Allen were named to the Register's Elite Offense.

According to the The Des Moines Sunday Register, the all-state football selections have been made annually since 1914. Ballots were sent to all of the state's football coaches, who were asked to nominate players and to provide statistics and comments. The responses helped tailor the Register's picks. Other criteria can included: value to team, leadership, character, valid statistical information and all-conference or all-district honors.
