WCSD: Big Time Grain Company Kicks Off School Year At Waukee High Schools

Big Time Grain Company joined Waukee High School and Northwest High School this week to kick off the school year. In partnership with The Iowa Clinic, Iowa Skilled Trades, and Beisser Lumber, students at each high school took part in the Dream Big Series. 

Channeling each student’s inner rock star and focusing on doing something you love and are passionate about in the future was the main message conveyed through an amazing concert. Students were able to hear valuable insights on how to shift their thinking and actions to lead them to live a life they love. 

The Dream Big Series message gave students valuable mental tools to help them go after their passions in an engaging and meaningful way through music. The Dream Big messages focused on mentally working thru the difference between a “Backup Plan” and the better option of a “Support Plan”.

Partners were able to share opportunities with students on internships, guide conversations about student’s future plans and provide insight into launching their dreams. A huge thank you to Big Time Grain Company for coming and sharing their passion with our students and staff.
