Students from Waukee High School and Waukee Northwest High School are coming together for an important cause. Both high schools are collecting toys for their annual Winter Toy Drive.

The drive includes a friendly competition between both schools, culminating with the basketball game on Friday, December 3. Waukee Northwest will travel to Waukee High School for a doubleheader beginning at 6:15.

Both schools are collecting new unwrapped toys from November 29 – December 3. Monetary donations are also accepted. The toys will be counted and the winning school will be announced during halftime of the boys basketball game. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the school with the most donations.
