As we embark on the 2021-2022 activity season(s) we would like to take this opportunity to remind all those that attend our events of expectations for behavior and sportsmanship. It is IGHSAU and IHSAA rules that no noisemakers, signs, or fat heads are permitted in any athletic event. We ask that all fans watch from the stands during the games. We encourage Warrior and Wolves fans of all ages to attend our contests but ask that elementary-age fans are accompanied by an adult.
We, as a district, believe sportsmanship is of utmost importance and encourage all who attend a Waukee Community School District event to be positive, encourage those competing, and leave the officiating to those in uniform. All fans are expected to have a ticket, purchased electronically preferably, or an activity pass to enter our events. We look forward to both schools continuing the tradition of excellence and starting new traditions as we begin a new journey with two high schools. This can’t be done without the support of our community!
