When Is Christmas Tree Pick-Up in Waukee?
The limbs are getting brittle, the zesty smell is gone. Time to haul your tree to the curb.

Some folks take their Christmas tree down as soon as presents are unwrapped.
Others wait out the entire 12 days of Christmas, meaning the tree is up until Jan. 6.
But if your tree is shedding needles and you want to get rid of it, here's what you need to know.

Don't put in with your garbage. Waukee has a special tree pickup set to collect Christmas trees.
Christmas trees will be picked up on consecutive Mondays, Jan. 7, and Jan. 14, according to the city website.

Make sure that all decorations have been removed from the tree before placing it at the curb. No bags will be allowed over trees.
