Where Do Waukee Girls Stand in Top 10 Basketball Rankings?
The Waukee Warriors are in the top 10 in Class 5A girls' basketball rankings.

The Waukee High School varsity girls' basketball team is ranked No. 3 in the list of Class 5A schools, as compiled by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
The Des Moines Register says this was last week's rankings; a new list will be out later this week.
But, the ranking was done just a day before the Warriors' stunning 48-47 loss to No. 8 Southeast Polk on Friday. The Register reports that Jessica Gardner of the Rams sank two free throws with six seconds left before Waukee missed a shot with a second remaining to give the Warriors their first loss of the season.
Waukee (5-1) was led by Britney Boland’s 19 points. Megan Shryack added 12 points.
