Golfers battled strong winds Thursday but didn't let a few stray drives ruin the fun of the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce 2013 "Get Your Game On" golf outing.
The event was held June 20 at Beaver Creek Golf Course near Grimes with the theme "Get Your Game On."
Member sponsors hosted sports themed games -- Waukee Patch had a tough game of tennis for duffers at the 9th tee -- and giveaways at each hole for the 108 golfers who played.
