Relay For Life of Polk County will be changing up its event hours this year. Beginning at 6 p.m. with an Opening Ceremony and Survivor Lap and concluding at 11 p.m. with a Closing Ceremony. Events throughout the night will include customary Relay For Life traditions like the Luminaria Ceremony, celebrating those who have won their battle with cancer, remembering those who have lost and honoring those who are still fighting.

Some new events this year will include a Local Hero’s Lap, Mother/Daughter and Father/Son Lap and Zumba. Anyone desiring to make a $10 luminaria donation may do so by visiting www.relayforlifeofpolkcounty.com.
