The varsity girls volleyball team beat the 5th
ranked Ankeny Hawks in five sets on Tuesday night at Ankeny. This is a
huge win for the Dowling Catholic girls. Haley Shimon was 22 for 22
serving. Brook Reichart had 18 kills. Jesse Proehl served up 4 aces. Anna Wisneiski had 33
digs. Jessi Henter and Mykal Sadler both put up 6 blocks and Tessa Mendoza had 21 assists. If you
haven’t been out to watch this team you better get out there, this is
volleyball at its best. Their next match is next Tuesday 9/17 at Roosevelt and
on September 24th they will take on Ankeny Centennial at
Ankeny.
