$5,000 Award Means More Candy for Your Eyes
West Des Moines Public Art Commission's "Art on Campus" program earns Prairie Meadows grant.

The West Des Moines Public Arts Commission received a Prairie Meadows Community Betterment Grant in the amount of $5,000 at an awards luncheon March 4.
The grant will help fund the temporary art exhibit “Art on the Campus” that will take place this summer on the City/School Campus in West Des Moines.

The exhibit will feature several works by Iowa artists that reflect the theme of “West Des Moines – Positioned Perfectly for Community Vitality”. The exhibit will open July 1 and run through Sept. 30.
