What Happened to West Des Moines Dog's Missing Boots?
Graffiti was written on a neighbor's mail the same day a package containing dog socks turned up missing from a woman's mail box.

If it had been the harsh winter of 2009-2010, when record after record tumbled and snow remained on the ground for 75 consecutive days, the sting might have been a little more painful for a West Des Moines pooch.
Beverly Jean Goulden, 600 block of Grand Oak Drives, reported to West Des Moines Police last week that when a pair of “doggy boot socks” didn’t arrive in a timely manner, she contacted the supplier.
When she learned the package had been shipped, she contacted postal authorities, who indicated it had been delivered to her address.
Goulden told police that she learned from the postal inspector that on the same day the package disappeared from her mailbox, one of her neighbors had reported to postal inspectors that graffiti had been written on mail left inside her mailbox.
There are no suspects. The missing merchandise is valued at $26.
