• Collins Aerospace is expanding its West Des Moines facility (mrobusinesstoday.com) — Collins Aerospace is adding a 14,000-square-foot expansion to its West Des Moines facility, bringing more engine component manufacturing and repair work—and new jobs—to the city. The multi-million-dollar project follows a recent $14 million upgrade and will boost advanced 3D-printing capabilities, fuel nozzle production, and FAA-certified repair services as aviation demand grows through 2027.
