Just For Her Expo

Des Moines’ first annual Just For Her Event is coming in May to the Iowa Events Center. This Des Moines first annual event will include over 100 booths of shopping, beauty treatments, health & wellness guidance, entertainment and tasty treat sampling. Other highlights at the event are the Pamper Her Lounge, offering $6 mini-spa treatments, hundreds of prize giveaways – including $100 shopping sprees, cooking demo from celebrity chef Michael Stevenson and other stage presentations.

This event was started by Aimee Jacobson and Lindsay Aydelotte of Kansas City, who recognized the need to bring Kansas City a summer women's event. The Kansas City Just For Her Event, which started in 2009, has become the largest women’s event in the area, boasting over 275 vendors in its 4th annual event last June. In October 2012, the Just For Her Event successfully expanded to the Omaha market, a city in need of a fun women’s event. Dates for the 2013 Kansas City and Omaha Events have been set and booths are filling up. The Just For Her Event provides all types of local and regional businesses, from home-based businesses to established brick and mortars, the opportunity the showcase their products and services to thousands of local women.
