Here’s the full West Des Moines forecast for the week ahead, according to the National Weather Service:

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 81; breezy, with a south wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Monday night: mostly clear, with a low around 59, south-southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 9 to 11 mph. Tuesday night: mostly clear, with a low around 59; south-southwest wind 5 to 7 mph, becoming calm after midnight.

Wednesday:  Sunny, with a high near 84. Wednesday night: a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms; partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

Thursday:  A 50 percent of chance of showers and thunderstorms; partly sunny, with a high near 77. Thursday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms; mostly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms; partly sunny, with a high near 66. Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mostly cloudy, with a low around 45.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers, partly sunny, with a high near 59. Saturday night: partly cloudy, with a low around 40.
