Basketball Autographed by Former Cyclone White Can Be Yours

The YMCA Capital City Basketball League is at  in West Des Moines with games this evening beginning at 5:30, and Patch wants you to have a ball.

That would be a basketball, and not just any basketball, but a regulation Nike basketball signed by Iowa State's -- and now the Houston Rockets' -- Royce White.

Patch will hold a free -- that's free -- raffle for the ball and make a donation to Orchard Place in Royce White's name. Just complete one of the flyers we'll be handing out as you enter.

Oh, and did we mention there'll be some great basketball played?

Patch.com, which we'll modestly note is in first place in the league at 6-1, will take on second-place Capital Orthopaedics at 5:30. Following that game, at 6:45, the  goes up against ADIO Chiropractic, and at 8 o'clock it's Coca-Cola against Peak Performance.

This is the last regular-season game before the playoffs begin on Friday, also at Valley starting at 5:30. Then it's on to the semifinals and the championship game Sunday at .
