AIB College of Business Cited for Top Student Financial Aid Service

The financial aid department at AIB College of Business is dedicated to assisting students in securing an affordable college education. That dedication recently earned them a statewide award.

Des Moines, Iowa – The Iowa Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (IASFAA) recently recognized AIB College of Business with its John E. Moore award, which is given annually to the member financial aid office that has shown the highest standards of service and commitment to its students and community. The award is comprised of a $500 award for exemplary achievement, as well as an engraved plaque.

In addition, the IASFAA’s three-member Federal & State Issues Committee was presented the Presidential Award, recognizing a significant contribution to the organization by either an individual or a committee during the president’s term in office. Tristan Lynn, assistant director of financial aid at AIB, was co-chair of that committee.

The IASFAA serves practitioners, users and providers of student financial aid programs that assist individuals seeking postsecondary educations.
