Historic Valley Junction Foundation is our newest West Des Moines Patch advertiser!

Historic Valley Junction Foundation is a non-profit organization which works to promote the area as a thriving residential, commercial and tourist area. It provides a variety of resources for local businesses, including technical assistance, economic development, training and cooperative advertising programs. Shopping in Valley Junction offers the friendly atmosphere of neighborhood shops highlighted by over 150 unique stores and dining establishments found only in the Fifth Street area of West Des Moines. Be sure to visit the historic district for Jingle in the Junction on November 29, December 6 and December 13 from 5-9 pm. The businesses in Valley Junction and the streets will be lined with over 150,000 twinkling lights. Along with your old favorites such as free horse drawn carriage rides, Santa, and caroling, many new activities will be offered this year.
