New Obama Headquarters Open in Greater Des Moines

This past  Sunday, Sen.Tom Harkin met with over two hundred fellow Democrats and opened the new Headquarters for the Obama Teams.

He spoke of the wonderful things our president has done and the several tasks he has before him. Our new office is located at 2913 Ingersoll in the old Blockbuster building, and is oh, so spacious and bright. Lots of light and windows on to Ingersoll and right in the center of all the activity!  

After his speech, Sen. Harkin spoke individually with several supporters and had his picture taken with them. We all enjoyed several fruits and veggies, soft drinks,  and a delightful cake with the Obama emblem blazoned on the top. 

As they say, "A good time was had by all!"
