West Des Moines School Calendar Up for Approval
On Monday, Nov. 19, the West Des Moines Community Schools Board of Education will be asked to approve a proposed calendar for the 2013-2014 school year.
On Monday, Nov. 19, the West Des Moines Community Schools Board of Education will be asked to approve a proposed 2013-2014 school year calendar. The proposed calendar was developed with community feedback gathered through WDMCS Idea Share, the district’s online community forum. The proposed calendar is available here.
In addition, the Board will review the program of studies proposals — or course changes — for 2013-2014 and the process used for recommending changes.
During the workshop, Board members will meet with representatives from the City of West Des Moines and Des Moines Community College West Campus about Career & Technical Education.
