On Nov. 2, 3 and 4, more than 100 Valley students will be a part of the production of "KES," a play with an important message.
"KES" is the story of teenage Billy who is bullied on all sides: at school, at home and in the community. He finds a kestrel chick, which is a type of falcon, that he raises and trains. As Billy’s relationship with the soaring bird grows, so too does his spirit and he discovers a passion that gives him an escape from the harsh reality of his life.
Students involved in the production took time to learn more about bullying prevention in preparation for the play.
