WDMCS Board to Review Audit, Hold Public Hearings & Approve Calendar Dec. 10
The WDMCS Board of Education will hold two public hearings, a workshop on the district's audit report and budget, and a regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012. All are open to the public.
The West Des Moines Community Schools Board of Education will hold two public hearings, a workshop on the district’s audit report and budget, and a regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012. All are open to the public.
At the workshop, the board will review the most recent audit report. In addition, WDMCS CFO Paul Bobek will provide an update on the district’s budget. At the regular meeting, the board will be asked to accept the audit.
Two public hearings will also be held. One hearing will be on the Valley High School Phase 3B 2013 Asbestos Abatement Project and the second hearing will be on the 2013-2014 Early Start Date. The board will be asked to approve the 2013-2014 school calendar during the regular meeting.
