Cabaret West Glen Redux Offers Sultry, Moulin Rouge Feel
Grand reopening is planned next week with nightly specials at the popular West Des Moines nightclub.

The name’s the same, but almost everything else is different about Cabaret West Glen, which now offers French cabaret resplendent with dark reds and blacks that give it a bordello-Moulin Rouge feel.
New owners Andrew Martin and Doug Aldridge not only remodeled the club, which originally opened in 2006, but also added live music on Fridays and DJs on Thursdays and Saturdays, the Des Moines Register reported.
The club will have a grand reopening celebration next week with nightly specials. Find the schedule on the web site.
The club has a 12-by-16-foot stage, party room and a VIP room, where customers can buy bottles of liquor and mixers.
In addition to the club at West Glen Town Center, Martin and Aldridge also opened a Cabaret bar in Ankeny last fall in the former Tonic nightclub there.
