Cash, Video Games Taken in West Des Moines Teen Center Burglary
Components to an X Box system and Wii game were taken in an overnight break-in at the teen center on Nov. 10, according to West Des Moines Police.

Burglars set on nabbing some video game components heaved a cinder block through a window of the West Des Moines Teen Center, 1401 Vine St., setting off the alarm at 2:19 p.m. Nov. 10.
According to a West Des Moines Police report, two locked rooms off the main room were forced open.
Items taken included: about $50 cash; an X Box 360 video game system, two remote controls, charging station and motion control sensor; two Wii remote controls; an unknown number of videogames and DVDs.

The center has a video surveillance system and images were given to the police.
No charges have been filed.
