The event runs from 1 to 3 p.m. March 28 at The Keg Stand, 3530 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Admission ($5) provides you with samples of 10 different types of chili. Drop donations to Furry Friends, a no-kill animal shelter in West Des Moines, in the container by your favorite chili in order to pick a winning chef.

Great prizes will also be raffled off, including an official 2015 Iowa State University basketball signed by coach Fred Hoiberg and his team, as well as a keg party at The Keg Stand.
