Chiropractor Accused of Inappropriate Relationship with Patient Finds His Door Lock Glued Shut
The doctor said the anonymous allegations aren't true, but harassment is escalating.

A West Des Moines chiropractor told police last week that he’s been being harassed by mail since 2011 by an anonymous man who accused him of an inappropriate relationship with his wife.
In a report on file at the West Des Moines Police Department, the chiropractor denied having an unprofessional relationship. He said the letters stopped for a while, but then resumed last week – about the same time four tires were cut on his personal vehicle while it was parked at his home. He filed a complaint with the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
Then, when he attempted to open the door of his office in West Des Moines on Nov. 23, he was unable to fit his key into the deadbolt. He later determined it had been filled with glue and he had to replace it at a cost of about $140.
Police detectives are investigating the case. The chiropractor said he has no suspects.
